Agreement

By installing or using ScoutPulse, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

The service

ScoutPulse is a Shopify embedded application for competitive catalog research on publicly available storefront data. Features and usage limits depend on your subscription plan (Free, Starter, Growth, or Pro). Shopify hosts app installation, OAuth, and charge confirmation. Changing plans clears unused monthly Compare allowance for the current period, then applies the new plan’s limits.

Shopify relationship

Your use of Shopify is governed by Shopify’s terms and policies. ScoutPulse is an independent service and is not endorsed by Shopify except as a listed app on the Shopify App Store. Billing for paid plans is processed through Shopify’s billing system.

Acceptable use

Use ScoutPulse only for lawful competitive research and assortment planning on storefronts that publish public catalog data.
Do not attempt to bypass Shopify authentication, scrape restricted endpoints, or access private Admin data.
Do not republish competitor product content as your own Shopify listings or misrepresent data as official market pricing.
Do not interfere with the service, abuse rate limits, or use the app to spam or harm third parties.

Pricing and catalog data

Displayed prices are starting prices from Shopify variants in catalog snapshots saved when you connect a store or run Compare. Catalog amounts are stored in US dollars (USD). When your display currency is USD, on-screen prices match those exact catalog dollars. When you choose another display currency, amounts are converted using mid-market exchange rates and may be approximate — they can differ from a competitor’s local checkout or Shopify Markets presentment price. Group averages are calculated from listings in that group. ScoutPulse does not guarantee real-time accuracy against live storefronts unless you re-run a comparison.

Subscriptions, trials, and cancellation

Paid plans may include a free trial shown at checkout in Shopify. After the trial, Shopify charges the listed recurring fee unless you change or cancel your plan.
You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel from the Plans screen or Shopify Admin billing settings.
Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or Shopify policy.

Intellectual property

ScoutPulse software, branding, and documentation are owned by us or our licensors. You retain ownership of your shop data. Competitor catalog data remains subject to the rights of those merchants and platforms.

Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. SCOUTPULSE IS A RESEARCH TOOL — NOT FINANCIAL, LEGAL, OR PRICING ADVICE.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS (USD $100), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

Termination

You may stop using ScoutPulse by uninstalling the app. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if required by law. Sections that by nature should survive (limitations, disclaimers, intellectual property) survive termination.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in our principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country require otherwise.
